As Duas Faces da Guerra (2007)
100 min
Realização: · Flora Gomes · Diana Andringa
[In 1963, PAIGC – African Party for the Independence of Guinea-Bissau and Cape Vert – started a fight for independence. PAIGC’s leader Amílcar Cabral always made clear that they were fighting colonialism, not the Portuguese people. And it was in Guinea-Bissau that the Army Movement that led to the Carnation Revolution in Portugal, in April 74, was born. The conflict brought no hate, but friendship. This film attempts to explain how the latter was possible, through different characters scattered through Guinea, Cape Vert and Portugal.]
