O "Granma" é o órgão oficial do Comité Central do Partido Comunista de Cuba.
É o único jornal diário nacional disponível na ilha.
Um carteiro de uma pequena cidade em Sierra Maestra (um dos lugares mais importantes no processo revolucionário de Cuba) leva diariamente o jornal "Granma" aos lugares mais inacessíveis da montanha.
Durante a sua viagem tem de superar vários obstáculos para chegar ao seu destino final.

[The “Granma” is the official organ of the Central Committee of Cuba's Communist Party. It is the only national daily newspaper available on the island. A postman from a little town in the Sierra Maestra (one of the most important places in Cuba's revolutionary process), has the daily routine of distributing the newspaper “Granma” to the most inaccessible places of the mountain. During his journey he has to overcome several obstacles in order to reach his final destination.]
