Um Verão quente em Lisboa. David, 14 anos, aguarda a morte iminente do avô, mas recusa-se a visitá-lo, temendo esta perda terrível. A mãe, Mónica, passa as noites no hospital. O vazio pela falta do avô obriga David a tornar-se o homem da casa. David não se sente pronto para assumir este novo papel, mas o fim da infância aproxima-se sem que ele se aperceba...

His mother, Mónica, spends her nights at the hospital. The void left by his grandafther's absence forces David to become the man of the house. David doesn't feel ready to take on this new role, but the end of his childhood is approaching before he knows it...
