[Since 2011 I have been frantically - and committed as an author - recording musical and choreographic manifestations of various genres, that were lost in the hills and valleys, in the cities and villages throughout the entire country, in both the mainland and islands. During this period, I was often dubbed the 21st Century’s Giacometti. In this autoscopic film, and following a lengthy conversation with director Inês Oliveira, who accompanied my work for some time, I put forth the fundamental questions: Why do I do what I do? What are the relationships with the people? What differentiates me from scientific work? What is Tradition? To discuss these issues brings up even larger questions about time, about the urgency of this work, and about knowing how to deal with death.]
